This news story was really fun and interesting to be a part of.  Finding a way to talk about a sensitive topic in a productive way was satisfying. Something I particularly struggled with was editing my own interview, but it was also a good learning experience. While interviewing Tommy, I really struggled with not responding right away to what he said. I am a very conversational type of person so having to pause after he was done talking was challenging. I'm looking forward to making more news stories and gaining new perspectives on complex topics.
